What students actually pay an agent
Agent fees are quoted one student at a time, with nothing to compare them against. That is what allows a number to be five times what someone else paid for the same work and still sound like the price. So we are collecting what people actually paid and publishing the middle of it.

How to read this
Every figure is shown with the number of reports behind it. A median from six people is worth something and a median from two is not, so anything below 5 reports shows its count and no figure at all. We would rather tell you a cell is thin than fill it.
These are self-reported and we cannot verify them. Amounts are converted to Korean won at approximate rates last set in Aug 2026, so treat them as the right order of magnitude rather than as exact. Nothing here is a fair price or a recommendation: it is what people say they were charged.
Add what you paid
If you paid an agent, a broker, or a consultancy to help you apply to a Korean university or language school, tell us how much. It takes under a minute, and the next student who is quoted a number will have something to hold it against.
Why we are doing this
We sell things too, and you should weigh that. What we never take is a commission for placing a student: no success fee, no enrolment-contingent marketing fee, no volume rebate. Nothing we earn depends on which institution you choose, which is precisely the arrangement that sets most agent fees in the first place. Plenty of agents do real work and charge fairly for it. The problem is not that agents are paid, it is that nobody can tell which end of the range they are being quoted.
