Is HIS fully funded?
Hanyang International Scholarship is partially funded. It covers 30 to 100 percent of tuition based on academic record. Check the official site for current stipend and allowance details.
Who is eligible to apply for HIS?
International applicants admitted to Hanyang. English (TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 5.5) or Korean (TOPIK Level 4 and above). For the bachelors track: High school diploma For the masters track: Bachelor's degree For the phd track: Master's degree
When does HIS accept applications?
Spring 2026 intake: September 2025. Fall 2026 intake: March 2026.
Can I apply to HIS without speaking Korean?
Yes. Hanyang International Scholarship offers English-taught program options. English (TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 5.5) or Korean (TOPIK Level 4 and above).
